About the Role:

As Pastry Sous Chef, you will take the lead on the pastry section, delivering elegant, high-end desserts that reflect the restaurant's reputation. While your primary focus will be pastry, you'll also contribute to a small amount of savoury cooking as part of the wider kitchen operation.


Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the pastry section, from mise en place to final plating

- Create refined, creative desserts aligned with the restaurant's culinary vision

- Assist with savoury preparation as required

- Uphold exceptional hygiene and food safety standards

- Support the Head Chef and mentor junior staff

- Help maintain the consistency, pace, and precision expected at this level

- Ability to adapt and support other kitchen sections when needed
