An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Monitoring Surveyor to join a dynamic London-based team. In this role, you will ideally be a Chartered Surveyor with a QS/BS background and ideally have at least 12 months of experience in development monitoring. If you are looking to transition into development monitoring, you will be considered provided you have a strong understanding of the role of an independent Project Monitoring Surveyor. You will focus on delivering service excellence and proactive project monitoring solutions. As this is a client-facing role, you will need excellent interpersonal, communication, and technical skills.

Responsibilities as a Project Monitoring Surveyor:

  • You will review and appraise costs.
  • You will review programme, procurement, and technical reports.
  • You will highlight and advise on project risks, risk transfer, and compliance with requisite Funder/Bank security.
  • You will write high-quality reports that express opinions clearly.
  • You will travel to sites and may work from other regional offices from time to time.

Skills required for a Project Monitoring Surveyor:

  • You will demonstrate strong communication skills.
  • You will have a flexible attitude.
  • You will possess knowledge of development and construction processes.
