As a Contract Senior Product Backend (Golang) Engineer you will be collaborating in a multi-disciplinary squad to enhance the functionality of the customer-focused product. You will be working on the backend technology, using a product-thinking approach when designing solutions.
The Role and Responsibilities
The ideal Senior Backend Engineer will be:
- Design, build, and maintain backend infrastructure and code.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data and product requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Writing Golang (Go) code to improve functionality
- Document, Test and Exploratory work
- Translating business requirements into team requirements.
Desired Skills and Experience
The ideal Senior Backend Engineer will have a background in the following:
- Very experienced in writing complex Golang (Go) code.
- Experienced in multi-cloud environments of GCP (and AWS).
- Proficient with other coding languages such as Java, Python and Scala
- Kafka for message queue
- Kubernetes and Docker
- Ability to read React
