Position: Senior DBT Therapist
Salary: 40,000 to 48,000
Hours: 37.5 per week
Type: Permanent - Full Time
Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced Senior DBT Therapist to join their DBT service in Roehampton. The role involves managing a program with 4 weekly skills groups for clients, ensuring smooth operations from referral to discharge.
Responsibilities:
- Allocate 1:1 Therapists and maintain a clinical caseload.
- Record comprehensive clinical notes and risk assessments.
- Support funding arrangements for patients.
- Contribute to service development and improvement.
- Represent the hospital at the DBT Network.
- Organize and manage DBT program schedules.
- Oversee new referrals and ensure timely assessments.
Requirements:
- Evidence of promoting/supporting active user/carer involvement/ participation
- Evidence of working as part of a DBT Service
- Professional registration and/or relevant membership.
- Experience in user/carer involvement and working in a DBT service.
- Ethical values and attitudes within a culture of equality and diversity.
- Development of specialist/advanced level of practice skills and able to demonstrate the impact of this on practice change/development
