Premier Work Support are excited to be recruiting for a temporary Team Leader on an Afternoon Shift for a Prestigious Catering Client in South West London. A permanent role may be available for the right candidate.

Our Client supplies to London's Top Restaurants, Hotels, Bars & Catering Companies with fresh seasonal produce. Due to the continued growth of the company, we are recruiting a Day Shift Team Leader at our Wimbledon facility, on a full-time basis.

The role will require the post holder to lead the assigned team on shift to produce customer orders as required on time and in full, whilst adhering to quality and safety standards, ensuring the integrity of all Raw Material and Finished Goods during the Production Process.

Salary: £13.46 per hour

Shift Pattern: 5 out of 7 days per week (40 hours per week) Required to work 1 day per weekend.

Timings: 2:30pm - 10:30pm

Accountabilities:

  • To be responsible for assigned team members - Circa 10.
  • Manufacture products as required to the high quality expected.
  • Efficient and safe production of food to the agreed customer specifications.
  • Supporting the launch of all new products.
  • Product quality & safety made on shift.
  • Staff training for safe & correct operation of machinery.
  • Keeping records of manufacture - electronic and paper based.
  • Onboarding of any new team members.
  • Ensure the compliance of all Health and Safety rules and regulations on site.
  • Diligent completion of the SAP business system.

To be successful in your application, we are looking for:

  • HACCP and Food Safety Management experience (Desirable).
  • Capable of motivating and monitoring a team.
  • Capable of performing all tasks in a factory to a suitable standard.
  • Counterbalance FLT Licence (Desirable).
  • Highly effective people and team leader who can also work well with others.
  • Knowledge of fresh produce quality standards.
  • Understanding of health and safety procedures.
  • Flexible approach with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
