Traffic Orders Officer

An opportunity has arisen for a Traffic Orders Officer with experience in permanent and temporary/experimental TROs to join a client in London. Your main duties include producing Traffic Orders and Notices related to road closures, parking restrictions and speed limits as well as updating internal management systems, carrying out pre-draft research and acting as the focal point of contact for all TRO related matters
 
This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £35 - £38 per hour - negotiable for the right candidate. Flexible working and working from home options are available.
 
Working within the Highways team your main duties include:
 
- Managing the preparation and the drafting of orders and noticed related to road closures, parking restrictions, speed limits, bus/cycle lanes, pedestrian crossings and special events.
- Carrying out pre-draft research and ensuring legal compliance
- Updating the internal TRO database and assisting with digitalisation of TROs
- Acting as the main point of contact for internal and external TRO matters
