Our client is an extremely successful online fashion retailer who has experienced extraordinary growth since opening their doors and there’s no stopping them yet! As the Visual Merchandiser you will be responsible for supporting the merchandising function of the business by ensuring that all key stakeholders are supplied with accurate and relevant data which can be used to make key business decisions in order to facilitate growth and profitability.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for working closely with the Head of Creative to make sure that all frameworks and controls can be utilised for long-term planning and in-season trading. This will include window displays, instore displays, category presentation, in-store communication, and mannequin styling. A hardworking, enthusiastic and creative individual will be highly suited to this role where they will have the opportunity to work on an extensive product range.

Main Responsibilities of the Visual Merchandiser:

  • Identify and analyse weekly sales trends whilst also producing regular trade reports for the management team
  • Handle the Visual Merchandising strategy by taking responsibility in managing window displays, store layouts, promotions and maximising the space and layout of the store.
  • Maximise stock availability by taking full control of both the intake and commitment schedule
  • Build and maintain strong work relationships with key suppliers
  • Ensure that produce availability is maximised across channels as well as highlighting key recommendations for markdowns and promotions
  • Make sure that all critical path deadlines are adhered to
  • Highlight any delivering issues and ensure that these are resolved as soon as possible

Key Skills and Attributes required from the Merchandiser:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experienced within a similar Visual (in-store) Merchandising role
  • Proven experience of working in a head office merchandising role
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills combined with fantastic communication skills
  • Creative and outgoing to allow building relationships across all levels successful
  • An enthusiastic and determined mindset
  • A genuine passion for retail and luxury fashion
