District Heating Engineer
Location: Southwark
Salary: 39,000 - 52,000 (depending on experience & jobs completed)
Package: Company van with personal use, 21 days holiday + bank holidays, excellent overtime rates
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced District Heating Engineer to join our team, supporting district heating and hot water systems across Southwark. This is a mobile role, but all jobs are local, typically within 10-20 minutes of each other.
You will carry out a variety of heating and hot water maintenance tasks, fault finding, and replacements, ensuring high-quality service across residential sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Radiator replacements
- Radiator valve replacements
- Fault finding for no heating / no hot water issues
- Installation of hot water cylinders and unvented cylinders (G3 training can be provided if required)
- Replacement of 2-port and 3-port zone valves
- Cleaning strainers
- General maintenance on district heating and hot water systems
Salary & Rates
- 39,000 - 52,000 depending on experience and productivity
- Daily rate structure: 155-200 per day
- Overtime: 30 per additional job
- Call-out rota: Thursday-Friday, 7 days, 24 hours
- Excellent call-out rates
