An outstanding school in Westminster is seeking a passionate and committed Economics Teacher to join their successful and innovative Economics department. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of drama and be able to inspire and engage students at all levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high-quality Economics lessons to students in Key Stage 3, 4 and 5.
  • Planning and delivering lessons in accordance with the school's curriculum and departmental policies.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with students, colleagues, parents and carers.
  • Monitoring and assessing students' progress and providing feedback to students and parents/carers.
  • Participating in extra-curricular activities and school events.
  • Contributing to the development of the school's economics curriculum and extra-curricular programme.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Economics or a related subject.
  • Experience of teaching Economics at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
  • A strong track record of raising attainment and progress for students of all abilities.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and time-management skills.
  • A passion for the performing arts and a commitment to the development of Economics within the school.
