Their dedicated team of educators and support staff work collaboratively to ensure that every child receives a high-quality education and achieves their full potential.

The Role: As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will have the unique opportunity to work across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, supporting experienced teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons. You will work closely with pupils on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, providing additional support and guidance to help them achieve their individual learning goals.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting teachers in planning and delivering lessons, ensuring that all students are fully engaged and motivated.
  • Providing individual and small group support to students who require extra help with their learning.
  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and respect.
  • Supporting the assessment and tracking of student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Assisting with the preparation and organization of teaching resources and materials.
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting the school's values and ethos.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • A genuine passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on young learners.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive school culture.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
  • Previous experience working with children, either through volunteering or paid positions, would be advantageous.
