Clarus Education are here to help! We are currently working in partnership with a fantastic Brent Secondary school searching for caring and driven individuals who are keen to spend time as a Graduate Teaching Assistant starting ASAP.

What is required of a Graduate Teaching Assistant?

All Teaching Assistants should be qualified and comfortable working with young children. Active listening skills, creativity and genuine enjoyment of children are all beneficial for this position. A successful Teaching Assistant will also have various prerequisite skills and qualifications which typically include:

·Flexibility and openness to change

·A caring and nurturing attitude towards children

·Excellent verbal communication

·The ability to remain calm under pressure

·Sensitivity and understanding

·The ability to work well with others

·Customer service skills

Job description

·Graduate Teaching Assistant

·Supporting children on a 1:1 and small group basis

·Encouraging learning through play and investigation

·Long Term & Full Time

·ASAP start – until end of academic year

·£80 - £100 per day

·Located in the Borough of Brent

What we are looking for?

·A minimum level 3 qualification in a relevant subject

·Be able to lead large group activities

·Experience working with children

·Committed individual

·Have an animated personality
