The school are looking for Graduates who have aspirations of working with children and want to take their career further by working in a school setting. The two-form entry school have a friendly staffed environment with an excellent curriculum structured for Early years to Year 6.

Key Responsibilities as a Graduate Teaching Assistant:

  • Support children with a range of special educational needs in both individual and group settings
  • Assist the class teacher in implementing tailored learning programs
  • Foster a nurturing, inclusive environment to help students thrive academically and socially
  • Provide one-on-one support and adapt resources to suit individual learning needs

What The School Are Looking For As A Graduate Teaching Assistant:

  • A caring and empathetic individual with a strong commitment to improving the educational experience of children with SEN
  • Previous experience in a school or similar setting is preferred, but not essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and parents
  • A positive, patient, and flexible approach to challenges
