GSL Education is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Modern Language Teacher to join our client school for a fixed-term position starting in September 2025.  Key Responsibilities:-
As a Modern Language Teacher, design and deliver an inspiring curriculum across key stages, covering core language competencies such as speaking, listening, reading, and writing.

Use interactive teaching methods and multimedia resources to create dynamic learning experiences.

Plan and assess students through oral exams, presentations, writing assignments, and classroom participation.

Encourage cultural appreciation and fluency, helping students gain insight into the diverse world around them.

Maintain an inclusive, respectful classroom environment that nurtures enthusiasm and achievement in language learning.

Collaborate with department colleagues to ensure curriculum consistency and high standards of delivery.

Stay current with developments in modern language education and actively participate in professional development activities.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), ideally with a degree in Modern Languages or a related field.

Previous experience as a Modern Language Teacher at secondary level.

Proficiency in teaching one or more languages such as French, Spanish, or German.

Strong knowledge of the UK national curriculum and assessment criteria in modern languages.

Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

A collaborative spirit and a student-centred teaching approach.

An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).

Right to work in the UK and suitable references.
