SEND Teaching Assistant

Are you a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant looking to make a difference in the lives of students with special educational needs? We are currently seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to join our partnered school'steam, based in Hackney. This full-time role typically runs from 8.15am to 3.30pm, providing ample opportunity to support students throughout the school day.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing one-on-one support to students with diverse learning needs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong desire to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities of the SEN Teaching Assistant include:
- Supporting students with special educational needs in their academic and personal development
- Collaborating with the classroom teacher to implement individualized education plans
- Assisting students with daily tasks and activities to promote independence and growth

Qualifications for the SEN Teaching Assistant position:
- Previous experience working with children or individuals with special educational needs is preferred
