Teaching Assistant

Smart Teachers are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Willesden, Brent.

• Teaching Assistants are required to join a primary school in Willesden in September 2024 (until July 2025)
• Teaching Assistant required to work in Year 3, supporting a pupil who has ASD
• Pupil can become easily distracted so school require someone who can be consistent in their expectations and help child remain on task
• Full time role, hours 08:30-15:30pm

• Two form entry primary school in Willesden
• Mainstream school with their own on site ARP Unit
• School caters for a diverse cohort of pupils
• School offers lots of opprtunity for CPD
• School located a short walk from Willesden/Harlesden stations and has an onsite car park

To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant you will:

• Previous experience working with pupils with ASD is required

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

• Hold an enhanced DBS
