Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Location: Tower Hamlets, East London
Salary Scale: up to £90 a day
Start Date: 20/02/2023
Contract: Temp to Perm 

GSL Education are looking for an exceptional Teaching Assistant to work in a Year 5 pupils with Autism. You will have prior experience of supporting children with special educational needs. The successful teaching assistant will support pupils here in a proactive manner and be patient with children in their role. You will work to ensure pupils reach their social and  learning aims consistently.
This role will be full time to join a large primary school in Tower Hamlets. The school has been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and is part of an academy Trust. There is weekly CPD and opportunities for career progression as well as the potential  to secure a permanent contract at the school.

Teaching Assistant job responsibilities and requirements:

• Have experience supporting children with SEN
• KS2 experience is a must
• Have a passion to work with special educational needs
• Able to support pupils on both a 1:1 basis and in small groups
• Support children on an EHCP Plan
