SEN Teaching Assistant - Key Details:
Full-time SEN Teaching Assistant position in a supportive Camden primary school.
1:1 support for a Year 4 pupil with ASD.
Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external specialists to implement personalised strategies.
Support the pupil's emotional regulation, communication, and engagement in classroom activities.
Provide structure and routine, while helping the pupil access learning both academically and socially.
SEN Teaching Assistant - Ideal Candidate:
Experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar support role with pupils with Autism.
A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to behaviour and learning needs.
Psychology graduates or candidates with child development backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
Able to build a trusting relationship and promote independence in learning.
