Smart Teachers are looking for motivated and enthusiastic candidates to join our trainee teaching assistant programme. This programme is for people wanting to start a career in education with no previous experience needed.

About the role
  • The programme is comprised of a paid placement in a school and online training.
  • You will be assigned a consultant to support you through the training and to answer any questions you might have.
  • Successful completion of the programme is likely to lead to long term employment
  • Once completed you will be qualified as a teaching assistant and will be able to work in primary schools in Fulham and surrounding areas

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Trainee Teaching Assistant - Fulham you will:

  • Two recent employer or academic references
  • Be willing to complete online training
  • Have a ‘child workforce only’ DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one
