Are you an immediately available HR Manager with generalist background and a good understanding of learning and development?
If so, then working for this royal academic institution is the right role for you.
Working as part of a wider HR team, you will oversee the work a HR Advisor and will ensure that the organisation has an L&D process that meets the needs of the staff whilst managing a variety of ER cases, and putting in place rewards programmes.
In your role as HR Manager (L&D) you will work closely with the wider business to understand training needs and gaps and put in place a strategy and learning modules that will help with growth, staff retention and development.
In addition, you will use the existing appraisal programme to complete the process whilst thinking of future needs of the organisation, making efficiencies where neccessary.
You will be tasked with reviewing the existing induction programmes and create efficiencies and improvement where necessary.
Whilst being the sole lead on L&D matters in the organisation, you will also carry and manage your own employee relations case load.
The skills you will bring to the position of HR Manager (L&D) will include;
• An in depth understanding of learning and development
• A clear track record in designing and implementing L&D strategies and programmes
• A solid understanding of ER cases
• An all round understanding of the HR function including the payroll and reward function
