Your new companyOur client is a public sector organisation that has gone through a period of growth.
Your new roleTo provide day to day operational supervision of the HR functions during the integration period. Escalation point for key aspects ofThe employee lifecycle, including employee relations, recruitment and people processes ensuring efficient and effective peopleService.The successful candidate will attend the client's Wembley office at least twice a week, including team days, with flexibility to attend more if business needs require.There may be requests for them to also attend our Hertford or Basingstoke offices, so flexibility in line with business needs is required.Please note that experience of employee relations issues and being the escalation point for our HR team as well as experience of supervising/managing a multidisciplinary HR team are essential requirements for this role.
What you'll need to succeed
Effective line management of People Business Partners and the supervision of the wider team to deliver an effective and proactive people service.2. Be the point of escalation to provide expert ER advice, guidance, and support, ensuring all matters are dealt with fairly and consistently to achieve the best possible outcome, and minimise risk.3. Supervise and support the people function to provide expert advice and guidance to stakeholders on all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, engagement, employee relations, development and equality, diversity and inclusion.4. Support stakeholders with the application of people policies and practices to ensure they are fairly and consistently applied, providing advice and guidance on complex legal and people issues.5. Support the team to increase engagement and performance through a wide range of people initiatives, including the development of actions and people plans.6. Oversee on the recruitment function, ensuring correct approvals are in place whilst achieving our EDI aims, value for money and living our values.7. Review and update People & Culture policies so they meet legal compliance and best practice.8. Monitoring the effectiveness of service delivery and workforce data/ KPIs to identify, trends and improve service delivery.9. Support change management approaches that align with our culture and objectives throughout the integration period.10.
