Growing law firm in London’s West End, seeking a Part-Time Senior HR Manager to lead our HR function and help drive a high-performance, people-first culture across the business.

This is a strategic and hands-on role that offers the opportunity to shape and deliver an ambitious people agenda. You’ll work in close partnership with senior leadership and partners to ensure our HR practices support business growth, talent retention, and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities

As a senior member of the team, you’ll take ownership of a broad range of responsibilities including:

  • Strategic HR Leadership - Developing and aligning HR strategy with business objectives
  • Employee Relations - Providing expert guidance and managing complex ER issues
  • HR Operations - Overseeing the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment through to leavers
  • Talent & Performance Management - Driving recruitment, performance reviews, and progression planning
  • Change Management - Supporting business growth and organisational change initiatives
  • Learning & Development - Designing impactful learning programmes for legal and non-legal staff
  • HR Data & Insights - Reporting on HR metrics to inform decision-making
  • Employee Engagement - Enhancing the employee experience and promoting inclusion and wellbeing
  • Policy & Advice - Advising managers and employees on HR policy, procedures, and compliance
  • Office & Business Support - Collaborating on broader office and operational needs

Key Skills & Experience

  • Experience: 7+ years in HR leadership, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment
  • Qualifications: CIPD Level 5 or above (essential)
  • Expertise:
    • Deep knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
    • Insight into the dynamics of a partnership or legal business model
  • Technology:
    • Proficient with HR systems and data tools
    • Comfortable introducing and implementing tech-enabled HR solutions
  • Leadership:
    • Proven ability to inspire, lead change, and build strong relationships across all levels
