Our client is seeking a part-time (minimum of 21 hours per week) HR professional to join one of their regional teams as an HR Advisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of high-level HR support including, support and empowerment of managers to deliver HR strategy and work in line with their policies and practices across the organisation. You will ensure the delivery of service level agreements and will expertly advise and assist on areas such as workforce planning, recruitment, employee relations and absence management - minimising risk, identifying problem areas, and recommending corrective action.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Challenge, coach and mentor local management to engage and develop employee capability and behaviours in line with the organisations mission and values
  • Working as part of a team providing high level HR advice and guidance on complex Employee Relations cases
  • Support the development and implementation of all HR policies and practices to provide consistency across the organisation and deliver training on same
  • Support managers on a one-to-one basis to carry out HR related processes such as recruitment, absence management, performance management
  • Deputise for the HR Business Partner in their absence, support, and work closely with the HRBP on a day-to-day basis by taking an active lead on all operational duties

Candidates will hold Associate Membership of the CIPD, have relevant up-to-date experience of employment legislation of codes and practice and experience of managing TUPE.

The role is part-time (minimum, 21 hours per week) with flexibility for hybrid working.
