- Strategic Partnership: Act as the dedicated HR Business Partner for the Engineering Faculty, building exceptional stakeholder relationships
- Complex Employee Relations: Lead on sophisticated ER casework, providing expert guidance to Senior Leaders
- Organisational Design: Drive major restructure projects, including business case development and implementation
- Policy Navigation: Guide clients through complex university policies and systems
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong partnerships across all levels of the organisation
- Relationship Building Excellence: Dynamic personality with proven ability to build rapport and influence at senior levels
- Complex ER Expertise: Substantial experience managing sophisticated employee relations cases (disciplinaries, grievances, TUPE, etc.)
- Change Management: Strong track record in large-scale organisational change and restructuring projects
- Academic Sector Knowledge: Understanding of higher education environment and its unique challenges
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to translate HR strategy into practical solutions
- CIPD qualification or equivalent
- Experience in matrix organisations
- Previous university or research institution experience
