My client is looking for a Senior HR Generalist on a maternity cover fixed term contract based at their offices in Heathrow

Working 5 days a week office based providing senior HR support the business. Working in a unionised environment providing support in ER, volume recruitment campaigns, TUPE, Redundancy and all areas of HR.

Working closely with Managers and providing guidance and advice to employees.

The senior HR Generalist plays a crucial role in aligning business objectives with employee needs, acting as a strategic partner to management while enhancing workplace relationships and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement HR policies that support business growth and align with organizational goals.
  • Employee Relations: Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting thorough investigations and providing guidance on performance management.
  • Talent Management: Oversee talent acquisition, succession planning, and employee development initiatives to ensure a skilled and engaged workforce.
  • Training and Development: Evaluate and monitor training programs, ensuring they meet organizational needs and contribute to employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Data Analysis: Analyse HR metrics and trends to develop solutions and inform decision-making processes within the organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Requires at least 5 years of experience in HR or related fields, with a strong understanding of business operations and HR practices.
  • CIPD Qualified Level 5
  • Worked in a unionised HR environment
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with management and employees.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address employee issues and improve HR processes.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and align HR initiatives with business objectives.
