Business Application Support Analyst

Location: Home/City of LondonDepartment: Business Application Support and Service Desk

About the Role: Join a dynamic team as a Business Application Support Analyst, providing crucial 1st and 2nd line support for various application systems. You'll manage change requests and be integral to strategic growth and acquisition application integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support for selected applications.
  • Manage application support activities: maintenance, administration, testing, and QA.
  • Own the triage process for incidents/problems/change requests.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, escalating when necessary.
  • Deliver exceptional service support.
  • Contribute to policy, process, and procedure development.
  • Manage configuration changes and maintain system documentation templates.
  • Efficiently onboard and offboard users.
  • Monitor the ticket system for trends and escalate as needed.
  • Build strong relationships with team members, business users, and third-party suppliers.

About You:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience supporting Acturis.
  • Ability to define business changes to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Proficient in facilitating remote sessions.
  • Enthusiastic about learning new applications.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and adhere to company policies.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and supportive of team members.
  • Courteous and respectful towards colleagues and authority figures.

Technical Skills:

  • Essential experience with Acturis configuration.
  • Desirable experience with Acturis document templates and workflows.
  • Experience with other insurance or broking administration systems is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant IT packages.
