Data Governance Lead

Eames is currently partnering with a Lloyd's insurer who are a looking for a Data Governance Specialist to improve their data management function and own the data governance framework.

This is a hybrid/London base role. You be in the office twice per week. They are offering a circa £110,000 salary depending on experience plus benefits and bonuses.

The role:

• Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures, working with stakeholders.
• Appoint and support data stewards, ensuring data quality and compliance.
• Maintain data catalog, taxonomy, and lineage documentation.
• Advocate for best practices, drive initiatives, and report progress to leadership.

The candidate:

• 5+ years in data governance, data management, or related field.
• Expertise in developing and implementing data governance policies in regulated environments.
• Proficiency with data management technologies/tools
• Strong history of stakeholder management, bridging technical and non-technical teams.
