IT PROJECT MANAGER

CONTRACT OUTSIDE IR35 - CIRCA. £500 A DAY

�? 3 days in the London office, 2 days from home. Non-negotiable.

MUST HAVE SPECIALTY INSURANCE SECTOR OR LLOYD'S MARKET.

JIRA, Kanban, and Azure DevOps preferred.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the delivery of new platforms, integrations, data framework and other assigned IT projects, working closely with the business change team to ensure successful project outcome within agreed budget, project framework, quality, and timescales.

About you

• Bachelor's degree
• Proven experience (5+ years) in of managing IT projects across varying technology functions, such as Software and applications, IT infrastructure, IT governance, Data, and analytics with a focus on delivering new platforms and integrations, preferably within the specialty insurance sector or Lloyd's of London market.
• Strong experience with Project management methods and techniques, including stakeholder management, negotiation, conflict management, planning, business case creation, dependency management, issue and risk management, budget, and resource management.
• Pro-active and able to look ahead for potential problems with IT projects and take preventative or mitigating actions in advance.
• Excellent communication
• Solid understanding of IT systems, architecture, and integration principles, with experience working with enterprise systems and technologies.
• Strong MS Project experience
• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) and familiarity with Agile
• Knowledge of specialty insurance industry
• Knowledge of software testing and delivery
• Knowledge of JIRA, Kanban, and Azure DevOps preferred.
• Knowledge of COBIT, ITIL4 preferred.
