Are you looking to work in a dynamic environment, ensuring the integrity and resilience of critical systems against the backdrop of a challenging cyber landscape. My client a global communications company, base in the City of London is looking for dedicated Security Risk and Manager, and your mission will be to fortify the organisation's digital bastions, meticulously identifying potential threats and weaknesses.

It would be highly advantageous for the successful Security, Risk Manager to come from an aviation or Airline background and you will be instrumental in conducting thorough risk assessments and deploying effective security measures. Your role will be integral to the maintenance and enhancement of security protocols, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry benchmarks.

To be considered for this role you will

  • Have in-depth knowledge of security frameworks, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS
  • Possess proven experience in security risk management & compliance in ISO 27001, GDPR, PCI DSS
  • Have a strong understanding of network security principles and practices
  • Be experienced in conducting risk assessments and threat modelling
  • Be generally proficient in Linux operating systems (e.g., Red Hat, CentOS, Alma, ubuntu)
  • Have familiarity with security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption techniques
  • Possess professional certifications, such as CISSP, CISA, or CRISC, similar
  • Have experience in the identification and capture of IT functional and non-functional requirements for large, complex project.

Your expertise will be pivotal in steering and auditing projects to ensure they meet stringent regulations and are delivered within scope. You will be the linchpin in managing network security functions, ensuring compliance, and fostering strong technical partnerships.
