Solution Architect

If you are an SC cleared Solutions Architect with a proven background in Network, Infrastructure and Cloud Solutions we have a new contract that we’d like to discuss with you.

Please note this role is Outside of IR35 and will largely be remote with some occasional onsite requirement with end clients.

General Experience/skills:

• Strong English language skill, both verbal and written
• Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, strategic planning, and business acumen
• Experience in technical presales or consulting with RFIs and RFPs
• Experience within Network and Cloud including On-Prem, Public and Hybrid Cloud presales and/or a previous architecture role within the same domain.
• Strong client facing presentation skills and ability to explain technical solutions and business value on the customer’s level.

Solutioning:

• Experience in the development of Network and Cloud including On-Prem, Public and Hybrid Cloud solutions for large scale clients.
• Ability to understand client requirements and create a solution design that meets those requirements.
• Capable of crafting a comprehensive solution based on client’s requirements and/or sales strategy.
• Experience and ability to write compelling proposal responses that describe and support the solution.

Technical:

• Extensive knowledge of the Network market, vendors, technologies, and products
• Extensive knowledge of the Hybrid Cloud market, vendors, technologies, and products.
• Extensive knowledge of the key Public Cloud market vendors and their offerings and how they integrate and complement with On-Premises Solutions
• Extensive knowledge of VMware On-Premises private Cloud offerings e.g., NSX-T
• Expert design skills:
  • Generic Routing / Switching / Data flows.
  • Data Center: LAN, WAN, DCI, Load balancing, Firewalls and Hyperscaler connectivity
  • Branch and Campus wired and wireless LAN and security, including SD-WAN, SD-LAN and zero trust security.
  • Network configurations and supporting services within public cloud.
  • Network configurations for on-prem private Cloud deployments
  • Transformation & Migration from legacy to new environments

• Knowledge of Network and Server infrastructure from a communications perspective
• Knowledge of communication requirements of Cloud-based platforms both Public and Private
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio

• Cisco: Meraki, Viptela, DNA-C / SDA, ACI, Nexus, ISR, Catalyst, ASR/ Firepower Firewalls, AnyConnect VPN
• Juniper: Mist, QFX/EX Fabrics inc VCF, EVPN-VXLAN, MACSEC Apstra, CSO, SRX, 128-T, NFX
• F5: Big IP LTM/GTM
• VMWare NSX-T private cloud platform
• AWS, Azure and GCP public cloud platforms
