One of our International Law Firm clients is looking for an IT Trainer to join its busy London based Technology team to work cross all domestic and international offices on a permanent basis

Salary up to £60,000

Generous hybrid working (60/40)

This multi-faceted role will see the successful IT Trainer being heavily involved with the smooth running of multiple large group and intimate in person and online training workshops.  The IT Trainer will be responsible for assisting fee earners and staff firmwide with all training needs and assisting with any technical issues or questions related to computer hardware or software. This position will facilitate engaging learning programs to onboard, train, coach, and support firm personnel across all offices with a chance to travel occasionally.

IT Trainer Key Duties:

  • Take on a wide variety of mediafrom creating awareness videos, e-learning, quick reference guides, contributing to firmwide announcements to promote new or existing technology.
  • Collaborate with the project management team, participating in frequent meetings from initial project launch to product testing and scripting, user acceptance, working with early adopters, devising training outlines and planning a training approach
  • Raise awareness of the firm’s tools and work on project rollouts. This would involve hosting large seminar sessions, training delivery, floor walking and follow-up training and support.
  • Support the service desk to answer questions and respond to training requests, taking ownership of end-user issues, finding solutions and feeding back to the end-user.
  • Keeping the global IT teams updated in advance of project rollouts to host knowledge sessions, ensuring all in IT are aware of the release of new tools.
  • Maintain the Learning Management System, populate training sessions, log attendance and report on progress as well as update and maintain training material on the intranet.

IT Trainer Key Skills:

  • Minimum 4 years+ providing general IT technology training and support experience in a law firm or professional services organisation using a recognised learning management system
  • Experience in producing high quality training materials, through a variety of media including video or e-learning.
  • Advanced level knowledge and experience with Intapp, iManage10, Microsoft 365, and Copilot is preferred.
  • Posess First class communication skills with a desire to educate and raise awareness
  • Have current experience understanding of the technology adoption and business change process
