End to end Instructional Designer

Possibl are currently recruiting for an Instructional Designer to join one of their main clients for 3 months initially. Our client have a small but very capable L&D function and require an ID who is comfortable with scripting / storyboarding content and building courses using Articulate Storyline.

You will collaborate with subject matter experts, project managers, and other stakeholders to analyse training needs, design curriculum, and create innovative learning solutions that align with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with subject matter experts to analyse learning objectives and content to develop engaging and interactive e-learning courses.

2. Design and develop course materials using Articulate Storyline, including but not limited to simulations, assessments, scenarios, and multimedia elements.

3. Utilise instructional design principles and adult learning theories to create effective learning experiences.

4. Ensure courses are visually appealing, user-friendly, and accessible to diverse audiences.

5. Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure courses meet established standards and specifications.

8. Collaborate with the learning management system (LMS) administrator to upload and maintain course content.

9. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritise tasks, and meet project deadlines.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in instructional design and e-learning development.

- Proficiency in Articulate Storyline, including storyline development, triggers, layers, and variables.

- Strong visual design skills with the ability to create engaging and interactive multimedia content.

- Knowledge of adult learning theories, instructional design principles, and learning management systems.

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

- Experience with other e-learning authoring tools and multimedia software is a plus.
