Possibl are currently recruiting on behalf of a reputable retail organisation who are expanding the learning team in London! They are one of the best companies in the UK to work for based on Glassdoor and have a great opportunity for a Learning Experience Designer to join the team. The ideal candidate for this role will have experience with the Articulate Suite (storyline/rise) and some experience with graphic design, video creating and social media. 

This position allows for lots of creative flexibility, bring out of the box ideas to the table, make the learning material feel exciting and bounce your ideas off the team. Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Work closely and in collaboration with the Academy Team to create interactive tools and high- quality media in the development of courses, with an eye towards modern, sleek, and intuitive design 
  • Design of learning offerings for the unique needs of each identified audience or an identified business or learning problem 
  • Design of learning content with consideration of the user experience 
  • Application of instructional design principles, learning theory, and educational technologies in the design and development of online learning experiences 
  • Lead meetings with senior management on learning/communications requirements 
  • Pro-actively manage campaign design and development issues as well as project schedule 
  • Troubleshooting of any basic educational technology issues 
  • Ensure high attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in learning materials 
  • Design learning campaigns and demonstrate their effectiveness through data. 
  • Drive effective internal communications by creating engaging content in a range of digital medium. 

This role is mostly remote, with occasional visits to the office in London and stores.

Criteria & Skills: 

  • Demonstrated experience designing digital content. Experience with graphic design
  • Experience of designing learning offerings in response to an identified business or learning problem  
  • Experience working with product teams to build learning assets or curriculum   
  • Experienced in the use of eLearning tools and technologies 
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to achieve high level of accuracy  
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and an ability to effectively manage projects that involve working with diverse individuals who may be local or at a distance  
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, demonstrating and ability to work flexibly and creatively across multiple projects with strict and conflicting deadlines, while maintaining high-quality standard of work  
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, including effective stakeholder and partnership working - maintaining positive relationships and building consensus  
  • Ability to collaborate across networks and work effectively in virtual teams including being the face of the Academy.  
  • Able to work autonomously but also as a team member and with a willingness to embrace change  
  • Video production and sound recording
