Your new company, is an international, innovative and Lloyd's of London Broker, who have multiple office across the globe. This exciting position, as a Marine Broker, will be based in their City of London office, a stone throw away from the Lloyd's of London building. This compelling Broking House, has a strong focus on delivering an exceptional level of service to their valued Clients and Retail Broker's, and has a strong focus on Marine Insurance and (Re)Insurance business.
Due to their exceptional performance, they have a significant amount of Marine Hull & Machinery business, that is emanating from their worldwide offices, and are now seeking an experienced Marine Broker, to join and become an integral part of their Hull & Machinery Division, to assist with the placement of complex Marine risks.
Role Duties
As a Marine Broker, you will:-
- Build and maintain relationships with Clients, Underwriters and the company network
- Assist with identifying new opportunities that will increase company revenue
- Negotiating with insurers and placing complex Marine risks into the London Market insurers
- Provide expert advice to clients on Hull & Machinery, War and Liability Risks
- Responsible for attending Client and Underwriter meetings
- Attending occasional International business trips
About You
- 5 years + of London Market experience as a Marine Broker
- Have a solid understanding of Hull & Machinery and War risks
- Experienced in placing complex Marine risks into the London Market Insurance
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Happy to travel abroad on business travel (occasionally)
