Role Summary

Working for a highly regarded Lloyd’s/London Market Insurer, you will be responsible for managing a team of Casualty Claims Handlers across Lloyd’s and Company Market platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Overseeing the Casualty team’s performance against KPIs.
Contributing to company profitability through effective claims management.
Reporting developments and trends in the wider legal and regulatory environment applicable to the Casualty portfolios.
Direct involvement in the management of significant large losses as necessary.

Key Requirements

Experience in Casualty Claims, including UK and European GL/EL/PL, and a small amount of Product Liability.
Ability to effectively identify, lead, coach and develop talented claims professionals.
Knowledge of loss fund management, portfolio run off and disposition strategies.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to prioritise and effectively manage multiple work streams.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
