We are currently recruiting on their behalf for a Claims Adjuster, based at their office in the heart of London. The successful candidate will provide support to the Group Claims Team on a daily basis, as well as developing a working understanding of claims processes and procedures.
Flexible working options are available with this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling a caseload of US and international Professional & Financial Lines Claims, as well as some Healthcare and Cyber Claims.
- Supporting the investigation and handling of all claims.
- Helping to ensure claims systems are kept up to date in a timely manner.
- Supporting the promotion of compliance, with best practice for all aspects of claims management.
- Assisting Underwriters in renewal meetings as required.
- Providing feedback to Underwriters from a Claims perspective.
- Helping to ensure that all handled claims are properly processed and reserved.
- Ensuring alignment and compliance with global reserving practices and strategy.
- Supporting claims team members in participation of claims audits.
Key Requirements
- Candidates will ideally have at least 1-2 years previous experience within the insurance or financial services industry.
- Strong mathematical, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong educational background.
