Life Insurance Adviser / Protection Broker - London Our client, A market leading prestigious brand, needs little introduction, they deliver a diligent approach and quality service for which they are renowned throughout the world, helping finance private or commercial property transactions.

The specialist insurance advisers work closely with a network of approved insurance providers to guide customers on the most competitive and comprehensive insurance options, whether it’s life, home, contents, or business insurance.

Responsibilities:

  • Contacting all opportunities referred from the mortgage team
  • Meeting the objectives and targets set out in the annual business plan, agreed with line manager and business
  • To complete a full Fact-Find on the CRM system to establish the client’s current finances and future needs and preference, which demonstrates Knowing Your Client (KYC) and that the client is central to the advice and recommendation
  • Explain the service clearly to a potential client from the outset, explaining the service we provide and our regulatory status as per the terms of business
  • Provide the client with all required documentation as stated in the sales process
  • Collecting and authenticating all documents required to support the advice and recommendation before submitting to a provider
  • Ensuring that you follow the protection policy and procedure from initial client contact to placing policy on risk
  • All clients are verified and certified before submitting business to protection providers
  • Attend weekly sales team meeting
  • Attend monthly/Quarterly results meeting and present results in all targeted areas to your Sales Manager
  • Ensuring all client communication is documented on the CRM system to provide full audit trail.

Key Requirements:

  • 2 years+ experience in a similar role.
  • A track record of banking £150k+ per annum*
  • Ability to communicate with others in a professional and helpful manner both face to face and on the telephone
  • Good standard of English grammar, spelling and takes pride in presentation of work.
  • Dedication, loyalty, diligence, and efficiency.
  • Punctual with a tidy manner.
  • Well presented, have a clear speaking voice.
