Mortgage Administrator

London - City

£25,000 - £30,000

We are working with a dynamic and growing mortgage brokerage based in the heart of the City. They pride themselves on delivering tailored mortgage solutions and exceptional customer service.

As the business expands, they are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Mortgage Administrator to support the experienced team.

You’ll play a vital role in supporting advisers and paraplanners, ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of mortgage applications. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or progress their career in the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation and submission of mortgage and protection applications.
  • Liaise with lenders, clients, solicitors, and other third parties to ensure applications progress smoothly.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records using our CRM systems.
  • Provide administrative support to mortgage advisers, including document collection, scanning, and data entry.
  • Monitor and update case progress, chasing outstanding documentation when necessary.
  • Handle general enquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company procedures.

Requirements:

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office/Google Sheets and CRM systems (training provided).
  • Previous experience in an administrative role (desirable but not essential).
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
  • Interest in the mortgage or financial services industry.
