I am partnered with an exceptional global law firm in their search for a Revenue Assistant to join their London office. This role reports directly to the Group Revenue Manager and is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in legal finance.

Day-to-day duties of the role include:

  • Handling time recording queries.
  • Preparing credit notes.
  • Assisting the Revenue Team as needed.
  • Reviewing daily call lists for payment promises.
  • Opening new clients and matters.
  • Accurately processing write-offs, ensuring proper authorisation.
  • Ensuring compliance with VAT and Solicitor Account Rules for all bills.
  • Producing reports and analysis of billable time.
  • Chasing clients to ensure prompt invoice settlement.
  • Updating collection progress on the ARCS management system.
  • Printing and distributing WIP lists, actioning resulting requests.
  • Assisting with statements and chaser letters.
  • Checking bills for numerical accuracy and consistency.
  • Authorising and processing edits and time transfers.
  • Prompt and accurate production of bills.
  • Complying with legal and regulatory obligations, including SRA Standards and Regulations.

This role is open to candidates who are looking to start a career in legal finance and come from a finance degree background, as well as candidates with 6 months to 2 years of experience looking to move into legal finance.
