This is a busy, full-service South-East London firm with a long-established history.
The firm is seeking a Company Commercial Solicitor to join the department for their Greenwich office. This is a standout opportunity for an ambitious, forward-thinking individual.
We require an experienced, enthusiastic and competent solicitor to assist with taking on and supporting the department in handling increased volumes of work which have been generated through various marketing and networking initiatives.
The solicitor will be part of a team of 7 lawyers across our business services and commercial property departments and must be fully competent in all aspects of:
- Company share sales and purchases
- Business asset sales and purchases
- Company buyback of shares, share issues and employee share option schemes
- Company administration and reorganisations
- Drafting general commercial contracts (e.g professional appointments, IT and IP contracts)
- Drafting partnership, shareholders’, LLP etc. agreements
The successful candidate will assist in the programme of building the firm's all-round service to business clients and self-development in all aspects of the law and practice in this area will be strongly encouraged. The candidate’s aim should be to build their own practice (we will want to hear their marketing ideas) and their own clients, be technically excellent, comply with the office procedures and bill/receive 3x salary after which you will receive a bonus.
They are interested in seeing the CVs of candidates with 1 - 4 years PQE, or more experienced candidates with 5+ years PQE.
Salary will be dependent on experience. All candidates must have, good technical skills, good analytical skills, good business judgment and strong interpersonal skills. You will need to show strong financial and commercial awareness and recognise the importance for business development.
