Venn Group’s legal team are working with a London basedLocal Authority to recruit a Locum Housing Lawyer to join their dynamic team.
The ideal candidate for this role will be either be a Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Fellow of CILEx who has experience in handling a wide range of Housing Matters within local government. It is essential the candidate has experience of dealing with judicial reviews and court challenges in the area of temporary accommodation/homelessness.
Duties shall include:
1-Â Â Â Â Handling a caseload of complex housing matters
2-Â Â Â Â Understanding and implementing the councils homelessness policies
3-Â Â Â Â Conducting homelessness and judicial review challenges
4-Â Â Â Â Providing guidance and support to less experienced lawyers
