Our client's Property Litigation team is expanding and are seeking a bright and personable Solicitor with a proven aptitude for and interest in property litigation, with 5 years' post-qualification experience, to join their successful team.

The firm are renowned for delivering top-tier legal advice and service and they advise individuals, families, businesses, financial services, educational, and not-for-profit organizations on all legal matters.

Operating from their London offices, they collaborate with trusted professionals worldwide to provide a seamless international service.

The Team

  • The Property Litigation team specializes in a full range of property disputes, including commercial, residential, and rural property.
  • Clients present the team with complex and varied challenges, from intricate family trust issues and multinational corporate transactions to emerging threats to their reputation.
  • Their clients include landowners, investors, developers, occupiers, institutions, and charities.

Responsibilities

  • Handle your own small to medium-value cases and assist the wider team on larger matters.
  • Engage in business development activities, including writing articles, giving talks, and building a professional network in property litigation.
  • Collaborate with clients to provide tailored advice, going beyond simple issue reporting.

Skills and Experience

  • A level of technical knowledge in property litigation commensurate with their experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to tailor advice to client needs.
  • Proven ability to manage a varied and demanding workload.
  • Enthusiasm, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work as part of an ambitious team.
  • Willingness to expand their business development network and support the team at events and networking opportunities.

Education and Qualifications

  • Minimum 2.1 degree.
  • Training contract at a mid-sized or city firm, with experience from a leading property litigation practice preferred.
