- Running a caseload of public and private law children cases and domestic abuse cases
- Undertaking advocacy
- Knowledge of LAA contract requirements
- Keeping updated with legal developments relating to children law and sharing knowledge
- Supervision of junior members of team
- The ability to meet billing and time recording targets
- Proactively marketing yourself, the team and the Firm
- Good marketing and business development skills
- A minimum of 8 years PQE
- Accredited to the Law Society’s Children Panel
- Strong working relationship with CAFCASS guardians
- Technical knowledge in children law and experience of acting in complicated care proceedings
- An established reputation as an expert in public children law
