Are you a Children Panel Accredited Solicitor seeking a new challenge with a Legal 500 and Chambers ranked Firm? Our client is in search of a dedicated 8 year+ PQE Children Panel Accredited Solicitor to join their Family Law team. You will showcase proficiency in prioritising tasks, working effectively under pressure to meet deadlines, and demonstrate self-motivation as well as the ability to motivate and support colleagues.The Firm:The Legal 500 Firm, with a legacy spanning over a century, is widely acknowledged for its esteemed reputation.   • Running a caseload of public and private law children cases and domestic abuse cases
  • Undertaking advocacy
  • Knowledge of LAA contract requirements
  • Keeping updated with legal developments relating to children law and sharing knowledge
  • Supervision of junior members of team
  • The ability to meet billing and time recording targets
  • Proactively marketing yourself, the team and the Firm
  • Good marketing and business development skills
Is this the position for you?
  • A minimum of 8 years PQE
  • Accredited to the Law Society’s Children Panel
  • Strong working relationship with CAFCASS guardians
  • Technical knowledge in children law and experience of acting in complicated care proceedings
  • An established reputation as an expert in public children law
  • Meets the LAA requirements for supervisor status
  • Experience of supervising junior team members
