Day-to-day of the role:

  • Assist solicitors in managing client files and performing related administrative tasks.
  • Manage client files under supervision, depending on experience and competence.
  • Liaise with clients, courts, and third parties to ensure smooth operation.
  • Provide clear, professional support to clients while maintaining the highest standards of client care and service.
  • Prepare bundles for hearings and assist with case management tasks.
  • Efficiently manage diaries, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings to support the legal team.
  • Handle the closing and archiving of files in accordance with firm procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage calls from existing clients and new enquiries, providing professional and supportive assistance while gathering relevant information.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A law degree or equivalent is ideal.
  • Proven ability to use initiative and prioritise workloads effectively.
  • Strong IT skills; experience with case management systems is advantageous.
  • Highly organised with the capability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to handle sensitive matters with empathy and professionalism.
