A Legal 500 firm based in North London is seeking a driven and socially committed Housing Paralegal to join their Housing, Social Care, and Public Law department. The Housing Paralegal's role
The successful Housing Paralegal will support senior solicitors with a legal aid caseload, including housing disputes, judicial review, welfare benefits, and age assessments. You'll also contribute to preparing case files, legal research, and client liaison, particularly in complex and often urgent matters.
You'll gain exposure to high-profile litigation, including test cases, while working in a supportive and inclusive environment.
The Housing Paralegal
- Experience in housing, community care, welfare benefits, or public law is desirable
- Prior knowledge of legal aid processes is advantageous
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Empathetic and committed to working with vulnerable clients
