The Housing Paralegal role is ideal for someone passionate about access to justice and interested in a long-term legal career, particularly in housing, community care, or public law.

The Housing Paralegal's role

The successful Housing Paralegal will support senior solicitors with a legal aid caseload, including housing disputes, judicial review, welfare benefits, and age assessments. You'll also contribute to preparing case files, legal research, and client liaison, particularly in complex and often urgent matters.

You'll gain exposure to high-profile litigation, including test cases, while working in a supportive and inclusive environment.

The Housing Paralegal

  • Experience in housing, community care, welfare benefits, or public law is desirable
  • Prior knowledge of legal aid processes is advantageous
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
