The organisation:
Seekinga skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer/Technician to join historic building in central London. In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities,providing a comfortable and productive environment for our staff, members, and guests.
About the Role:
In this varied and hands-on role, you'll be responsible fora wide range ofmaintenance tasks, ensuring our building and facilities are in top condition for staff, members, and guests.
- Conduct repairs and installations for joinery (doors, windowsetc.)
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls and carry out first-line repairs for equipment
- Monitor and maintain the Building Management System (BMS)
- Liaise with external contractors and ensure their workis completedto a high standard
- Maintain positive working relationships with colleagues across different departments
- An extensive background as a MaintenanceEngineer/Technician,or similar role
- Significant experience in joinery installation and repairs within a commercial building environment
- Experience with building maintenance and decoration duties
- A strong understanding of health and safety regulations
- A proactive and problem-solving approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Competitive salary of 35,000 with the potential to earn approximately 10,000 more through overtime (more thanthirdmore in overtime)
