Mechanical Building Services Engineer

Location: West London

Hours: Monday to Friday 8.00am-5.00pm

Pay Rate: 22.00ph

Temp to Perm contract.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mechanical Building Services Engineer to join a fantastic maintenance team at a prestigious London University.

If you're tired of the daily commute into Central London, based in West London and wish to work locally this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.

Responsibilities:

  • Reactive Maintenance/PPMs/Breakdowns
  • Emergency Lighting/Fire Alarm Testing/Water Treatment
  • Statutory Compliance
  • Carry out Preventative & Reactive maintenance on Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings and compressors.
  • Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
  • Chillers - Re-set
  • BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds etc)
  • Ensuring logbooks are kept up to date
  • Escorting specialist sub-contractors
  • Assisting other engineers
  • Offering technical support

Requirements:

  • C&G in Building Services/Mechanical
  • A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
  • Multi-skilled experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Client Facing
