Join a leading facilities management provider at a prestigious commercial building in Camden. We’re looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to become a key part of the on-site team, delivering high-quality maintenance and ensuring smooth operation of critical building systems.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Perform PPM and reactive maintenance on HVAC systems, pumps, valves, and mechanical plant

  • Diagnose and repair faults to minimise downtime and disruption

  • Maintain and monitor systems including chillers, boilers, AHUs, FCUs, and BMS

  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures

  • Liaise with site teams and contractors to ensure seamless service delivery

  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report issues proactively

 

Requirements:

 

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)

  • Proven experience in a commercial building maintenance role

  • Strong working knowledge of HVAC systems and mechanical plant

  • Solid understanding of health & safety practices

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and within a team

 

Desirable:

 

  • Experience in high-end commercial or corporate environments

  • Additional qualifications in plumbing or air conditioning

  • Familiarity with CAFM systems and BMS controls
