Our client is a dynamic and innovative company specialising in bike storage solutions. They offer bespoke product and install services for their clients across the construction and property industry and are seeking to employ an Operations Manager top assist with day to day running of the business.

As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the operational services of the company, ensuring efficient processes are maintained, and client needs are met and managed. You will be crucial in overseeing and handling day to day operations of the company and ensuring that business functions run smoothly and efficiently. This includes working closely with company directors, internal departments, suppliers and clients to achieve company goals and deliver customer projects.

This is a very high paced position, so would suit a focused and driven individual who is capable of working under pressure.

Position Overview - Operations Manager

  • Work with Directors, company departments and suppliers to efficiently deliver clients' projects
  • Assist Directors to assist with project timelines and update clients promptly
  • Monitor labour, subcontractors, plant, materials and suppliers
  • Ensure the best utilisation of subcontractors and suppliers for the efficient use of resources and maximise profitability
  • Assist with resolving day-to-day operational issues as they arise
  • Operational support for sub-contractors and suppliers as needed
  • Assist with pre-contract and pre-arrival information to clients
  • Supplier relationships - monitor the status of secured projects with the supply chain and update clients on lead times and/or installation dates.
  • Feedback on client responses to management regarding price, service, quality and any issues highlighted through discussions with clients or potential clients.
  • Ad hoc tasks to assist the operation and growth of the company.

Position Requirements - Operations Manager

  • Educated to degree level preferred
  • Experience in the construction industry is preferred but not essential
  • 2+ years of operational experience preferred
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Problem solver with a keen eye for detail
  • Full time office based
