Operations Manager

We are currently looking for a operation manager to join a hospital based in West Central London. This would be a temp position.

Work:

• The role will encompass comprehensive oversight of the whole shift team working 24/7 across the whole site.
• Responsible for managing the HTM Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) for the Operational Estates team.
• Hold both the in-house engineering team and contractors accountable for maintaining professional standards.
• Responsible for managing electrical/mechanical equipment and calibration across the Estate.
• Close collaboration with the Senior Engineering Operations Manager (SEOM).
• Ensure that the organization's compliance team receives adequate support with operational requirements.
• A key leadership role in supervising/advising on minor work projects.
• Actively participating in an on-call engineer rotation.
• Provide consistent leadership and valuable guidance to the Maintenance Supervisor, serving as the central point of contact for all matters related to electrical infrastructure.
• In addition, you will have line management responsibility for the Engineer operations Officer, Electricians, Plumbers, carpenters, painters and apprentices.
• Maintaining the Estates Action plan with a dedicated focus on critical operational issues will be part of your role.
• Assisting in the recruitment
• Efficiently ensuring the cost-effectiveness of reactive maintenance repairs by soliciting competitive quotations is part of your role
• Collaborate with the Project department
• Providing technical support to others as required and undertaking any other duties deemed necessary, in line with banding, training, and competency, is also part of your role.

Qualifications:

• Fully qualified in Mechanical or Electrical

• (NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or Mechanical Engineering

• Experience in NHS
