- Work with designer, and team, to develop and finalise samples from initial phase through to production.
- Ensure all design phases are recorded, and produce a final design pack for each piece and/or collection.
- Forecast all purchases for D2C and wholesale parts of the business, and schedule with suppliers
- Manage the purchase of all stock, which includes finished pieces and raw materials - including price negotiations where applicable. Including managing budgets for all new collections and sampling.
- Manage logistics for domestic and international goods-in-transit, including knowledge around import and export.
- Optimise product costs by value engineering, efficient transportation and material use.
- Maintain impeccable standard of product information within internal systems.
- Monitor and remain up to date with all industry standards and changes in regulations, laws and ethical standards ensuring all suppliers are compliant.
- Retain and develop relationships with existing and new suppliers.
- Quality controlling all samples and inventory which comes in, and constantly update a quality control manual. Train team in QC.
- Both maintaining and continuing partnerships with RSJ and other sustainability programmes
- You'll have extensive experience in production and logistics
- Proven management skills of high value/luxury goods
- Ideally you'll have extensive knowledge and experience working with fine jewellery materials or come from a similar role working with luxury goods with a keen interest in jewellery
- Good experience of working cross-border
- Experience in a retail business with good knowledge of retail margins, and pricing
- You'll be ambitious, driven and proactive with a positive "can do" attitude
- Experience working closely with design teams and using CAD is preferable
